The star of this soothing body yogurt is Panthenol, which is great at soothing and calming skin, protecting the skin barrier, and locking in moisture.

So let's learn more about Panthenol and how amazing it is for skin and hair, and then dive into the formulations.

PANTHENOL (pro-vitamin B5)

Panthenol is a powerful ingredient that has been utilized in the beauty industry for years, and for good reason. This versatile ingredient has a wide range of benefits that make it a must-have in any skincare or hair care routine.

One of the most notable benefits of panthenol is its ability to deeply hydrate the skin and hair. It is a humectant, meaning that it can attract and retain moisture, helping to keep the skin and hair soft, supple, and healthy. This makes it an excellent ingredient for those with dry or dehydrated skin or hair.

In addition to its hydrating properties, panthenol is also known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory effects. It can help calm irritation and reduce redness, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin or scalp.

Panthenol is also believed to be beneficial for wound healing, as it can help to promote the growth of new skin cells. This makes it a popular ingredient in products designed to treat cuts, scrapes, and other minor injuries.

Overall, panthenol is a highly versatile ingredient that can benefit nearly anyone, regardless of their skin or hair type. Whether you're looking to hydrate dry skin, soothe a sensitive scalp, or promote wound healing, panthenol is definitely an ingredient to consider adding to your beauty routine.

The only drawback of this emulsifier is that it’s nearly impossible to buy in small quantities. I got lucky because I found someone who shared a small jar of Olivem 2020 (100g) with me. The minimum order quantity for the emulsifier on Hallstar is 5kg.
I found a supplier in Croatia that delivers to the EU countries
