Bella Rosa Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Rosa Bella Hyaluronic Acid Serum keeps your skin plumped, hydrated, and moisturized without being tacky. The low molecular HA penetrates deeper skin layers and hydrates the skin from within.

Hyaluronic Acid is one of the most popular ingredients in the skincare world from serums to creams, from scrubs to body butters. It is naturally found in our skin and is believed to decrease as we age, so it is essential to use products with Hyaluronic Acid.

There are many types of hyaluronic acid (HA) with different molecular weights and solubility. Most suppliers feature the water-soluble type of this lovely hydrating and moisturizing ingredient. The smaller the particle size the deeper layers of epidermis hyaluronic acid can reach. I used low-molecular HA HySilk in my formulation, it's an Ecosert-certified ingredient and shows excellent results in skin plumping, wrinkle prevention, moisturizing and deep hydration.

In this post I am testing the formula provided by the Institute of Personal Care Science. It is not the exact formulation but I based mine off it so it’s important to mention this info.

🌹Bella Rosa Hyaluronic Acid Serum

A 86.35% Rose hydrosol (or distilled water)

A 5.00% Glycerin 

B 3.00% Isoamyl laurate (emollient)

B 0.80% Cosphaderm® X34 (Xanthan Gum)

C 3.00% Provitamin B5 - Panthenol 

C 1.00% Trehalose (humectant)

C 0.50% Liquid Germal Plus 

C 0.25% Hyaluronic Acid HySilk 

C 0.10% Bella Rosa fragrance oil

1. Combine the A-phase ingredients.
2. in a separate beaker mix together the B-phase ingredients and add them to the A-phase.

3. Combine the C phase and add it to the AB phase and use a mini mixer, stirrer, or stick blender to mix everything together until no lumps of HA are left.
4. Measure and adjust the pH to 5-5.5.

I included Panthenol and Trehalose for extra soothing and moisturizing kicks. If you don’t have these ingredients feel free to add more hydrosol or distilled water instead
