💡PRO TIP My general rule of thumb when formulating conditioner bars is
70-80% solid ingredients
15-20% liquid ingredients
In this formulation, I used a combination of conditioning emulsifiers where each of them brings something exciting to the product. If you don’t have these ingredients on hand don’t worry. I made a cheat sheet for my readers that guide you on the subbing side of the formulator’s life.

OPTIONAL: colorant. I used Orange water soluble dye from Auroradyz.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Weigh the A phase and place it in a double boiler over medium heat. Melt carefully stirring in between. Make sure not to burn your precious oils and butters.
2. In a separate beaker mix your cool-down phase.
3. Once your oil phase has completely melted take it from the stove, stir and then add the cool-down phase, give it a mix.
4. Pour quickly into your molds.
5. Wait 4 hours until they hardened and take your conditioner bars out of molds.
💡Use silicone molds, they are versatile and it’s easy to unmold conditioner bars.

Costs per 1 conditioner bar = 1.86$
Recommended retail price = 1.86*4= 7.36$
NOTE: I buy my ingredients in small quantities. If your purchase yours in bulk and in bigger quantities your costs would be lower.
