Honey and Ucuuba Renewing Hair Mask

Fall and winter is the perfect time to take your hair a little bit more seriously. With cold months coming, we all want something warm, spicy, comforting, conditioning, nourishing. With that in mind, I've developed a hair mask formulation that not only protects your hair from environmental damage but also deeply nourishes and conditions your hair, making it shiny and bouncy.

Honey and Uccuba Hair Mask features absolutely amazing and fairly new to me, luxuriously nourishing Uccuba butter. It has a lovely deep, sweet scent with notes of vanilla. I adore it! You can use it in many formulations such as anhydrous and emulsified body butters, lotions, creams, lotion bars, massage bars, lip balms and masks, hair conditioners, hair masks, hair balms, and many many more.

I got mine from New Directions Aromatics, but you could even purchase it on amazon. It's not cheap, and if you have something like mango or kokum butter on hand, you could use those instead.

Other star ingredients of the formulation are moisturizing Manuka Honey Extract, restoring Wheatquat (Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein), soothing and softening Provitamin B5, light and silky Camellia Seed oil, and anti-inflammatory CO2 Hop Extract.

Glycerin will add to the moisturizing effect, and cetyl alcohol will thicken the mask and make it silky smooth.
