Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey Bath Bombs. Super Foamy
It's going to be a very short post because I already have a video tutorial on my Youtube channel on making Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey Bath Bombs.
I have another recipe on my blog which is very similar to the one that I am going to share with you now. The difference is that in my previous recipe I didn't use any surfactants so the bath bombs would fizz down fast. I still love that recipe and it's very good for someone with dry, irritated, eczema-prone skin but I also wanted to create a foamier and bubblier version so here it is.
RECIPE
285g Baking Soda
140g Citric Acid
10g Milk Powder
15g Cornstarch or Tapioca starch
5g SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) - (SLSA (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate )or SCS (Sodium coco sulfate) also work well in this recipe))
6g Kaolin Clay
5g Colloidal Oatmeal
10g Fragrance oil
10g-15g Natrasorb Bath (optional)
10g melted cocoa butter
5g Polysorbate 80
2g distilled water
2g Cocamidopropyl betaine (optional, substitute with more water)

SLSA and SCS will make more bubbles and SCI will create more foam. If you want to know why we use a certain ingredient and what it does for a bath bomb then give a read to my Bath Bomb Ingredients Post.
