Dreamy Foaming Sugar and Jojoba Scrub

I love making all kinds of scrubs and experimenting with different oils, exfoliants, techniques. To my mind, combining exfoliants bring your body polishes up to the next level. Why? Well because as many of you know the most common exfoliants used in body scrubs are sugar and salt. They are both water-soluble so and eventually, they start dissolving and getting less scrubby. While some people enjoy a very gentle exfoliation many of us prefer a product that really gets the job done.

FOAMING BATH WHIP

50% Sugar
5% Jojoba Beads
40% Foaming Bath Whip
2.5% Fragrance
2.5% Avocado oil (you can use a different oil or even butter instead)
mica or your colorant of choice (optinal)

To make 500g of scrub you will need

250 g Sugar

25 g Jojoba beads

200 g Foaming Bath Whip

12,5 g Avocado oil

12,5 g Fragrance

INSTRUCTIONS

Weigh your foaming bath whip in a mixer bowl. I make foaming bath whip from scratch but you can also buy a recipe or purchase your batter base on amazon or from one of your favorite soap suppliers.

2. Next, start slowly whipping your foaming bath whip until it gets softer and creamier.

3. I decided to add a small amount of mica but you can use more colorant for a more vibrant color.

3. Start mixing again and while your whip base is getting all nice and fluffy you can go ahead and weigh your exfoliants and oils.

4. Add your fragrance and your carrier oil and then slowly add your exfoliants while mixer set on low.

5. I divided my batch into two equal parts and added a touch of pink mica to one of those. Now we can fill up our jars layering the scrub to create a double color effect. I liked it!
